About the company
History
The Company was founded on 27 October, 1998 as Warsaw Airport Business Center and changed its name to Port-Hotel Sp. z o.o. on 26 July, 1999. It was created by 'Polish Airports' State Enterprise as a special purpose entity to build a hotel in the Warsaw F. Chopin Airport area.
Our Mission
The Company’s objective is to create new hotel building projects in Poland, including airport hotels, and management of hotel facilities.
The First Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Airport hotel in the vicinity of Warsaw Chopin Airport was the first project carried out by the Company. The Company is moreover the sole owner of the hotel.
The hotel operates under a Franchise Agreement concluded in 2002. Due to its professionalism and experience, Port-Hotel is officially recognised as the operator of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel pursuant to the Agreement concluded with Marriott International, Inc. in 2005. Port-Hotel is the only Polish company permitted to manage the brand of an international hotel chain.
